We are very excited to be working with the Denali Foundation. Not only do the goals of the foundation mesh well with the philosophies of our club, but it also provides us a variety of unique community service opportunities in an amazing location conveniently situated midway between the Fairbanks, Anchorage, and Mat-Su Rotaract clubs.

At the first signs of spring Josh, Anna, and John drove down to the Denali Foundation to scope out the scene. What a great excuse to visit the park!

This, our first joint project, was timed to coincide with the annual Denali Foundation volunteer day. Future projects will include members from all Alaskan Rotaract clubs, the next planned during the Denali Foundation Auction in August.

As you'll see from the pictures, we did some really great work while enjoying sunshine, fabulous people, and even some splendid live music from Alaska's own Barefoot Bluegrass!

Every year, hundreds of Denali locals gather at the Denali Foundation for a Auction Fund-raiser. This year, Aurora Borealis Rotaract will be there to lend a hand. Look for more information as the weekend of August 2nd approaches.
