Camping with the District Rotaract Representative (DRR)

On Day 2 of the return trip, we stopped for a three hour Rotaract business breakfast in Wasilla.

Filling up a quarter of the room, our international group began a deep discussion about Rotaract in Russia, the needs of the Russian people, and how our Fairbanks club fit into those issues.

We hit on some really good issues and left the table with a great deal of excitement about the ability of our club to make a difference. It was quickly becoming apparent that the relationships fostered over this weekend would provide the necessary bonds for the international projects of the near future.

The only regret was that the last minute nature of the trip meant that the Mat-Su Rotaract Club was unable to join us.
