Tuesday Morning Goodbyes

We left at 11:00 PM on Friday night after a quick stop at Taco Bell.

Travelling in two vehicles on a drizzley Friday night, we kept our eyes searching for any moose that may be on a mid-night stroll.

Fairbanks Rotaractors get an early morning start.

We hoped to put as much of the 502 mile trip behind us before bedtime, and found that conditions warrented pulling over and getting a few hours rest when we reached Huricane Gulch.

Day 2 of driving finished off the beautiful coastal drive onto the Kenai Peninsula.

Two hours late, we arived in Soldotna at 4:00 pm on Saturday to meet our new Russian traveling companions.
