Rotarian, Gideon Garcia provided the Russian Rotaractors with a ride back to Anchorage on the McKinley Explorer.
Here is the description of the return trip in their own words:
Well, it is 2:30 am and we just came to Soldotna. Absolutely exhausted. Completely tired. Totally fell asleep. But HAPPY!
Let's start from the beginning. We guess that the train was wonderful and the view was terrific, however we were sleeping all the way long.
Now imagine poor little Russian girls (and boy!) in big city of Anchorage totally, completely, absolutely lost because nobody met us... In a hour Jerry picked up us and we jumped to his caR and it took us about 3 hours to get here (you know, Jerry is a speedeR!)
