ROTARACT CLUB OF INTERIOR ALASKA
PO BOX 84919 FAIRBANKS, AK 99708

President, John Pile

It is my honor to welcome you to our second full year as a club. In the short time we've been together, I've watched a group of loosely organized Alaskans unite behind a commitment to community service and global understanding through projects that allow us to take advantage of everything interior Alaska has to offer.

It is inevitable that as we start this second year, we pause to look back at where we've been, and as I do, the shear number of projects we have successfully completed amazes me. In scope, our projects have reached from hosting our Russian neighbors to establishing computer labs and supplying dental clinics in the tropics of Nicaragua.

However, it is more than the quantity, it is the quality that has built our clubs reputation. It is great to be a part of a service organization that has a hard working, "get the job done" reputation.

Perhaps more important are the global friendships made though our work. Our peers in the international Rotaract community know that our members work hard and play hard. If you have any doubt, just ask our Past President Joshua Horst about his title as Rotaract International Whipping Champion.

As you browse the web site and reflect on our past, I invite you to consider the direction you'd like us to take in the future.

Sincerely,

John Pile, President 2003-04
Aurora Borealis Rotaract Club
